(216)  749-STAR     VOICE MAILBOX

North Coast STARS has a voice mailbox, which allows the viewers to be part of the show by leaving a comment, positive or negative, about any one of the performers they have seen/heard or any show in general. Some of these comments are used in future showcases.

Some suggestions to help get your message used in a showcase:

  1) Prepare what you are going to say before you call.

  2) Start with your name, (first name only).

  3) Next, where you live, (town or section of the city).

  4) Make your message short, (a 4 to 8 second sound bit has the greatest chance of being used).

  5) Send use an E-mail if you have a longer message, proartist@ncstars.tv .

  6) Keep it clean, (if you want it to be heard by the public).

SAMPLE: "Hi, I'm Bob, from Buckeye. That play with the kids was great."

( Messages received on this voice mailbox become the sole property of North Coast STARS.)

SUBMITTING MATERIAL

North Coast STARS has limits on what can be inserted into a showcase. We can NOT guarantee merely by submitting your material it will be incorporated into a showcase. The venues we try to exposure all artists to, generally have community standards requirements. We reserve the right to DECLINE material that does not meet the ever elusive "community standards", any "bleeping" of audio or "blurring" of video to satisfy such is the submitters' responsibility. The material submitted must be original. Submitter must have complete ownership of the material with the required releases, for all persons and material used, and must sign a release to that effect and indemnify us from any copyright infringements. Submitter must grant the non-exclusive right to use such as part of a North Coast STARS showcase. Provide biographical material sufficient to make promos for material submitted. Video submissions must be on a 3/4", SVHS or Mini-DV videotape format only. Audio submissions must be on a CD, in the .CDA or .WAV format only. Material submitted is non-returnable.

When you have material, completely ready to be seen or heard, read and sign the SUBMISSION RELEASE.

(To print out the release, on one page, it is suggested you make sure your "PAGE SETUP" for your printer is set for "PORTRAIT" not "LANDSCAPE" and that the "TEXT SIZE" of your browser's "VIEW" drop down menu is set for "MEDIUM".)

Mail the signed release with your video and/or CD to:

MAPATV, PO BOX 111285, Cleveland, OH 44111

(do not forget to attach bio/promo/press kits regarding the material)
